The big fight is finally going to happen! Yes, Green V Mundine - the man V the machine.
It's about time too. Of course Anthony Mundine couldn't resist his whole me against the system routine at the press conference - claiming he's a grass -roots fella, an aboriginal muslim while Green is the blond haired, blue eyed corporate type. Ah yeah, Anthony - that would be why you showed up in a cream suit and hat looking like some Yankee black pimp - cos that's what aboriginal muslims do??? And the boof headed carpenter from Perth is the corporate guy??
Face it man, you were a good rugby player but you weren't the best - that's why you didn't make the state of origin - nothing to do with colour just ability. And you can box, damn fast, damn smooth but then again against most of your opponents you couldn't look anything but fast and smooth - come on! At least Green has faced a few hardier men in his time - he wants to risk it to better himself. Mundine seems to have backed himself into a corner where he just can't risk losing (except in title fights where he some how tries to claim moral victories). It's going to be (hopefully) a damn good fight. There is no doubting Mundine's ability but there's also no doubting Green's heart. If Sven Ottke (not known for his punching power) could put Mundine out cold imagine what Green can do if he connects. That could be the story. If Mundine can stay out of the way and box, if he can keep his ego in check and not try and fight it toe to toe - he could come away with the points but if he wants to trade blows - well, it'll be all over before you can say "Yo Pimp Daddy Mack."

So Mayweather and Judah are still gonna fight. That's fine, i don't have a problem with them still getting it on. However, calling it a title fight is surely pushing the envelope a bit. Just because Baldomir didn't put sanctioning fees up to the other parasites Zab can still claim to be champion? Gimme a break. He was the undisputed champ, he got beat - end of story. How Mayweather and he can keep beating off about the ibf championship being on the line and keep a straight face at the same time is beyond me. Instead of fighting April 8 maybe they should have it on April 1. Hey, it might even be a good fight - although Zab Judah would have to be one of the most overrated fighters on the planet - but it ain't a title fight. Mayweather wants to be the best - start fighting the best then. Too much jawing, not enough actual action. Sure he beat Gatti - and? Who didn't think he would. He's fast, he's powerful but he's also full of shit. Admit you just wanna pound on Zab and make a few bucks - that i can respect. This title fight hoohah - forget it.
